Rutter's Presents $25,000 to United Cerebral Palsy

Charity will use funds for handicapped-accessible van

YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Children's Charities, part of the Rutter's Cos., recently presented a check for $25,000 to United Cerebral Palsy of South Central Pennsylvania.

The Hanover, Pa.-based nonprofit organization will use the award to purchase a handicapped-accessible van for transporting its clients. UCP of South Central Pennsylvania serves children and adults with disabilities and special needs in York, Adams, Franklin and Fulton counties. The chapter has offices in York, Hanover, Gettysburg and Chambersburg.

Scott Hartman, president [image-nocss] of Rutter's Farm Stores, Todd Rutter, president of Rutter's Dairy; and Tim Rutter, president of M&G Realty, presented the chweck to presented the check to Paulette Houghton, executive director of UCP of South Central Pennsylvania.

Rutter's Cos., York, Pa., is comprised of Rutter's Farm Stores, Rutter's Dairy and M&G Realty, a real-estate holding company. The companies employ more than 800 people in central Pennsylvania.
