Sinclair Oil Selects WEX Fleet One
Will provide co-branded over-the-road (OTR) fuel card services
SALT LAKE CITY -- Sinclair Oil Corp. has named WEX Inc.'s WEX Fleet One as its provider of co-branded over-the-road (OTR) fuel card services. This will allow Sinclair distributors and customers access to the WEX Fleet One network for its more than 60 truckstops including Sinclair's Gold Truck Stop network.
The newly co-branded Sinclair OTR cards offer benefits including controls, fraud reduction and fuel savings throughout the Sinclair and WEX Fleet One network.
"We are very excited about what this opportunity will provide fleets nationwide. It is only as a result of WEX's acquisition of the Fleet One OTR platform that our relationship with Sinclair Oil could expand," said Bill Cooper, general manager of fleet OTR and partner channels at WEX. "By adding an OTR fuel card product to its offerings, Sinclair has increased its value to fleets, both the long-haul heavy-truck customers and the fleets operating a mixture of light duty and heavy-duty vehicles."
"Sinclair has always placed high value on the card programs we offer to our distributors and customers," said Jack Barger, vice president of marketing and supply for Sinclair Oil. "This opportunity will allow Sinclair to provide a superior OTR card program and also help our truckstop network gain additional diesel volume with OTR fleets."
