This new program began on Tuesday, March 15 at all 10 Lexington-area Thorntons locations.
Customers do not have to sign up or register to receive the discount on their fuel purchases. Also, there is no limit on the number of [image-nocss] gallons purchased or how often they can use their debit card; all they need to do is use their debit card and enter their four-digit PIN card number at the fuel pump or when they purchase fuel inside.
In February, Thorntons launched a text messaging program, Thorntons Gas Price Alerts. Gas Price Alert text messages will be sent to participants each and every time Thorntons is notified of a confirmed increase in fuel prices of more than 10 cents per gallon.
