Tower Market Embraces Mobile, Social Marketing

Deal with OpenStore by GasBuddy offers alerts, promotions, specials, contests

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Tower Energy Group's 46-location Tower Market Stores chain has partnered with OpenStore by GasBuddy to provide rewards to customers. With free mobile apps, Tower Market customers will receive deal alerts and promotions sent to mobile phones, specials sent via social media and text message contests.

Customers can locate the closest Tower Market convenience store by downloading the mobile app to see gasoline prices, in-store promotions and more. Customers can send feedback from their mobile phone and receive time-sensitive electronic mobile coupons.

The OpenStore dashboard collects customer feedback, manage social media, deliver mobile coupons and text message campaigns in a single location.

Sacramento, Calif.-based Tower Energy has operations in three market segments: wholesale gasoline operations, retail grocery and gas markets and branded gas distribution. The wholesale gasoline operations extends into 34 states including most major metropolitan markets. The retail segment encompasses the operation and development of a network of 60 neighborhood grocery, gasoline and c-stores branded as Tower Market. The branded distributorship segment handles the supply and brand management of over a hundred Valero and 76 stations along the West Coast.
