Two Join Heartland Payment Systems' Petroleum Division

Levine, Crush named director, manager of national accounts for oil, convenience

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Heartland Payment Systems Inc., a major payments processors, has named Alan Levine director of national accounts of its petroleum division. It has also named Christie Crush manager of national accounts in its petroleum division.

Levine brings 28 years of petroleum and convenience store experience in point-of-sale (POS) systems, networks and credit card processing to Heartland and helps solidify an experienced team of industry professionals.

At Heartland, Levine will be responsible for expanding the market for Heartland's successful SmartLink suite of managed services and will be working with major oil companies, convenience store chains, mid-tier marketers and fleet accounts.

Prior to joining Heartland, Levine served as a senior executive with VeriFone and as a vice president with Bennett Pump.

Crush brings more than 21 years of payments processing and acquisition experience to Heartland's team of petroleum and convenience store professionals.

At Heartland, Crush will be responsible for managing accounts related to major oil companies, convenience store chains, mid-tier marketers and fleet accounts.

Prior to joining Heartland, Crush served as director of client services at Chase Paymentech and as vice president of customer relations at Bank of America (NPC). Crush is a member of various petroleum and convenience store organizations and serves as the facilitator for the Petroleum Retail Fraud Forum.
