United Pacific Picks Cardtronics for ATM Services

Deal covers 300 c-stores under several brands in western United States

GARDENA, Calif. -- Convenience-store retailer United Pacific has named Cardtronics as its exclusive provider of ATM services. The newly formed relationship calls for Cardtronics to own and operate ATMs at more than 300 gas station and convenience-store locations operating under the We Got It! Food Mart, My Goods Market and Circle K brand names in California, Colorado, Oregon and Washington.

Cardtronics also has expansion rights to provide ATM services for United Pacific in potential future locations.

“Cardtronics welcomes the opportunity to provide United Pacific with ATM services on an enterprisewide basis, which we believe better enables the company to focus on its core business as a convenience and gas store merchant,” said Jonathan Simpson-Dent, chief commercial officer for Cardtronics.

Houston-based Cardtronics provides services to approximately 200,000 ATMs in North America and Europe.

Gardena, Calif.-based United Pacific, operates a c-store and wholesale fuel distribution network that offers motor-fuels products under the 76, Conoco, Shell and United Oil flags and convenience items through the We Got It! Food Mart, My Goods Market and Circle K brands. The company is a portfolio business of Fortress Investment Group LLC, New York, a diversified global investment management firm.
