Wawa Teams With Wright Express

Agreement to offer proprietary, universal card program

WAWA, Pa. & PORTLAND, Maine -- Wright Express Corp., a leading global provider of business payment processing and information management solutions to the U.S. commercial and government fleet industry, has signed an agreement with the privately held Wawa Inc., to offer customers a proprietary and universal fleet card program.

The partnership with Wright Express comes after an increasing customer demand for a Wawa fleet card program, the companies said.

"We appreciate and believe the Wright Express systems and fleet card solutions are the best choice for Wawa, but [image-nocss] what really is important is our belief that Wright Express has a culture of excellence, customer focus and building relationships similar to Wawa. That will be the basis for our long term partnership," said Norman Turiano, senior manager of fuel marketing at Wawa.

The launch of the program is part of Wawa's goal to add more value and services to its customers and communities.
