Weis Club customers in Shippensburg and Chambersburg can now redeem their Weis Preferred Shoppers Club Gas Reward points for discounts on fuel purchases at Sheetz convenience store locations in their areas. Customers can earn Gas Reward points on purchases in Weis Markets stores when they use their Weis Preferred [image-nocss] Shoppers Card, said the report.
To redeem their gasoline rewards at Sheetz, Weis Club customers and new signups must pick up a new Weis Preferred Shoppers Club card at any Weis Markets store.
With a $50 purchase, during a Gas Rewards promotional period, Weis Club customers can earn a 10-cents-per-gallon discount when purchasing up to 20 gallons of gasoline. A $100 transaction qualifies for a 20-cents-per-gallon discount, while a $200 purchase earns a 40-cents-per-gallon discount. There is no discount limit. The offer is good on a per-transaction basis and does not aggregate.
The Weis Gas Rewards discount will continue to be available at all local Weis Gas stations, said the report. In addition to Shippensburg and Chambersburg, the Weis-Sheetz Gas Rewards program is available in Sunbury, Selinsgrove, Lewisburg, Mifflinburg, Milton, Harrisburg and State College, as well as stores in Hagerstown and Frederick, Md.
As a result of the remodel, the Shippensburg store has expanded its produce and seafood departments and added a new floral department. There is also new interior decor and signage. In conjunction with a grand reopening, Weis Markets made $500 donations to the West End Fire and Rescue Co. and the Shippensburg Area Emergency Medical Services, the newspaper said.
Altoona, Pa.-based Sheetz operates more than 360 convenience locations throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio and North Carolina.
Sunbury, Pa.-based Weis Markets is a Mid-Atlantic food retailer operating 165 grocery stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, New Jersey and West Virginia.
