7-Eleven to Carry Sensible Portions Snacks

Retailer will put three varieties on shelves in September

BUTLER, N.J. -- World Gourmet Marketing LLC has extended the availability of its Sensible Portions brand by gaining entry into two key retail locations. World Gourmet has agreed to supply Dallas-based 7-Eleven Inc. with three of its healthy Sensible Portions snack items.

Products include the Apple Cinnamon and Cheddar 1.3-oz. Multi Grain Crisps and Sea Salt 1.75-oz. Pita Chips, shipping as early as September 2008, 7-Eleven confirmed.World Gourmet, in collaboration with RDD Associates, has also announced entry into the largest New York metropolitan supermarket chain, ShopRite [image-nocss] Supermarkets. ShopRite, a unit of Edison, N.J.-based Wakefern Food Corp., has authorized full distribution of the Sensible Portions Apple Cinnamon, Cheddar, Parmesan & Herb, and Sea Salt 3.5-oz. Multi Grain Crisps into all of its stores beginning in August 2008.

Butler, N.J.-based World Gourmet Marketing, LLC has been developing and marketing gourmet snacks since 2001. Produced under the company's premier brand Sensible Portions, World Gourmet products include all natural and lower-calorie snacks such as multi grain crisps, veggie crisps, pita chips, crackers, and soy crisps. Available internationally, products are marketed under World Gourmet and Sensible Portions brands and are sold through grocery, convenience, deli, warehouse club, vending and other channels of distribution.
