ELMHURST, Ill. – New flavors keep the world turning, especially the convenience-store world of snacks. To that end, Kellogg's has added chocolate wafers to its Keebler Sugar Wafers lineup.
The chocolate wafers join the strawberry and vanilla flavors that cookie lovers have been buying for decades. Company representative Tyronna Johnson told CSP Daily News that the chocolate wafers are being shipped through distributors now.
The way Kellogg’s sees it, consumers demand instant gratification to satisfy sweet cravings, and cookies often top the list of wants, along with a desire for a good value. The Sugar Wafers feature new packaging and 10 wafers per pack. All flavors are sold in the new packaging, which is solely available in convenience stores, Johnson said.
Kellogg is the world's leading cereal company; second largest producer of cookies, crackers and snacks; and a leading North American frozen foods company. Keebler is among its many brands, which also include Special K, Pringles, Pop-Tarts, Cheez-It, Eggo and more.
