Clif Bar Challenges Adventurers to 'Meet the Moment'

Sharing outdoor photos with special hashtag generates donations to nonprofits

When someone shares a photo using the hashtag #MeetTheMoment on their social channels, Clif Bar will donate $1 (up to $100,000) to one of seven environmental nonprofits each month (International Mountain Biking Association, American White Water, Leave No Trace, Surfrider Foundation, Access Fund, Winter Wildlands Alliance and Protect Our Winters).

Beginning in June and running through Dec. 2014, all 17 Clif Bar flavors will feature one of 20 adventure challenges on-package (available nationwide) to spark ideas and help people Meet the Moment through their own interpretation. The adventure challenges include: Get Your Feet Wet, Feel Gravity, Embrace the Elements, Paddle Out and more.

Team Clif Bar athletes will also be participating--20 pro athletes including surfer Lakey Peterson, snowboarder Jeremy Jones and climber Alex Honnold will be interpreting the on-package challenges.
