FAIRFIELD, Calif. -- The Jelly Belly Candy Co. has introduced two jelly bean collections featuring popular movie properties from Disney--Star Wars and Frozen.
The Star Wars collection contains three 1-oz. bags and a 2.8-oz. gift-ready Grab & Go bag. Each bag is filled with a special Galaxy Mix of Jelly Belly beans--seven flavors with a special finish that sparkle like the stars. The mix includes Sparkling Berry Blue, Sparkling Blueberry, Sparkling Green Apple, Sparkling Sour Apple and new flavors Sparkling Grape Soda, Sparkling Wild Blackberry and Sparkling Island Punch.
Both 1-oz. and 2.8-oz. bags are available to ship June 2014.
The 1-oz. bag features storm trooper, Darth Vader and Yoda images representing the iconic heroes and villains of the series. It ships in a 24-count display caddy.
The 2.8-oz. Jelly Belly Grab & Go bag features Darth Vader with his red lightsaber. It ships in a 12-count display caddy.
The Frozen collection, available this summer, contains 1-oz. bags, a 2.8-oz gift-ready Grab & Go bag and 7.5-oz. gift bag. The characters from the blockbuster film appear on each package with a cool blue mix of Jelly Belly jelly beans. The Icicle Mix of the sparkling new Jelly Belly Jewel Collection jelly beans includes Sparkling Berry Blue, Sparkling Blueberry, Sparkling Cream Soda and the new Sparkling Grape Soda flavors.
The 1-oz. Frozen bags feature Queen Elsa, Princess Anna and snowman Olaf on the front of the three bag line. Available in June, the three designs are available in a 24-count mixed shippable caddy.
The Frozen 2.8-oz. Grab & Go bag is ideal for birthday parties and favors. A special tag area on the bottom right of the bag allows consumers to customize the bags with a message for the receiver. Warm hugs abound with the bag as Queen Elsa, Princess Anna link arms on the front of the bag and Olaf shares a smile. Available in July, it ships in a 12-count shippable caddy.
Jelly Belly jelly beans contain four calories per bean and are fat free, peanut free, dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian and OU Kosher certified, said the Fairfield, Calif.-based candy company.
