HERSHEY, Pa. -- Chocolate candy is the treat of choice for consumers celebrating the Easter holiday and spring season. Nearly two in five (39%) people say that chocolate and candies are essential to the holiday, according to data from YouGov PLC and Ketchum Global Research & Analytics. Approximately half of respondents to that survey also said that Easter eggs are an essential part of the holiday.
In that spirit, The Hershey Co. is releasing Hershey's Kisses Carrot Cake Candies and Hershey's Milk Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Eggs nationwide.
For the consumers looking for additional egg-inspired products, the company is also releasing its Cadbury Mini Creme Egg Assortment.
In addition to its chocolate offerings, the company is also releasing the Hershey-ets Pastel Cane and Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans Cane. For additional gifting, consumers can also purchase the Reeses's Peanut Butter Bunny and Kisses Deluxe Easter Bunny Gift Box.
