Krispy Kreme Goes Nutella

Nutty Cocoa Ring is dipped in hazelnut spread, topped with nuts

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Just in time for more holiday temptations, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has debuted the Nutty Cocoa Ring Doughnut with Nutella hazelnut spread.

"We are thrilled to bring a product featuring the classic taste of Krispy Kreme and the nutty flavor of Nutella to our shops domestically,” said Jackie Woodward, chief marketing officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. “This indulgent combination will allow for a flavor experience unlike any other.”

The Nutty Cocoa Ring is dipped in Nutella hazelnut spread, topped off with crunchy hazelnut pieces and drizzled with chocolate icing.

This is the first time a Krispy Kreme product featuring Nutella has been offered in the United States. It is available now at all participating outlets.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. is based in Winston-Salem, N.C., and was founded in 1937. It has more than 1,100 retail shops in 29 countries, and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts also can be found in 12,000 grocery, convenience and mass-merchant stores in the U.S.

Nutella is a product of Ferrero USA, which is based in Somerset, N.J.
