ERLANGER, Ky. -- Mentos, that chewy little mint in the tube package, can now be ordered at whim with an Amazon Dash Button. Mentos joins a list of brands available to consumers through the Wi-Fi connected device that enables Amazon Prime members to reorder products via a physical button.
The Amazon Dash Button for Mentos comes with reusable adhesive and a removable hook to hang, stick or place wherever wanted. The Dash Button requires just a few steps to set up, linking it to a customer's preferred Mentos gum or mint item. Reordering is accomplished by pressing the button, with a successful order showing a green indicator.
“Today, more than ever before, consumers are shifting their media consumption and purchasing to the digital space, and Mentos wants to be at the forefront of this movement,” said Sylvia Buxton, vice president of marketing for parent company Perfetti Van Melle USA.
Some other typical convenience-store snacks and candy products available with Amazon Dash include Clif Bar, Hershey's variety pack, Doritos and Orbit gum.
