President Obama finds his "gift" for travelers

WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama finally put his stamp on a token gift treasured by travelers of the presidential 747, reported the Associated Pressboxes of M&M's. Seven months after Obama took office, the small boxes bearing the signature of the 44th president made their debut last weekend in the midst of a four-day, four-state trip through the West.

The patriotic, individual-sized boxes containing red, white and blue peanut M&M's were handed out on the plane Saturday.

On one side: the presidential seal and Obama's signature written in gold. On the other [image-nocss] side: a yellow M&M marching with an American flag.

Mars Inc. makes the bite-sized chocolate candy that has been a staple of Air Force One since at least the Reagan administration, AP said.
