IRVING, Texas -- Following up on the success of James Harden’s Sour Brite Weird Beards last year, 7-Eleven Inc. and Trolli are dialing up the weirdness with the launch of Sour Brite Sloth gummies and a Pineapple Lime Slurpee beverage. Both products will be available at participating 7-Eleven stores through April 30.
The Trolli Sour Brite Sloth gummies are shaped like the slow-moving critters that inspired them, with gangly limbs and a laid-back attitude, according to the company. The brightly colored gummy candies come in Pineapple & Lime, Strawberry & Grape and Blue Raspberry & Berry Punch flavors.
Arriving alongside the gummies is Trolli's first-ever 7-Eleven Slurpee. This version of the chain's signature slushy drink comes in a Pineapple Lime flavor.
7-Eleven will also stock Weirdly Awesome Trolli Slurpee straws and employ in-store displays, including a Sour Brite Sloth social face swap that will allow shoppers to "show our sloth some love" using the hashtag #slothvibes.
