HAPPAUGE, N.Y. -- Walkers Shortbread, a family-owned Scottish Shortbread bakery, is launching a new line of premium shortbread and cookie varieties to foodservice outlets. The new line includes individually wrapped twin packs in the traditional tartan packaging.
Walkers has been served for decades by international hotels and airlines, and is now one of the most respected premium food brands worldwide. Its All-Butter Shortbread Fingers and Rounds, Stem Ginger Cookies and Oatcake Crackers are all available in foodservice pack formats.
Walkers Shortbread products use all-natural ingredients, are free of genetically modified ingredients (non-GMO), artificial flavorings, preservatives and colorings and are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union.
Founded in 1898, Walkers is a leading brand of food exported from Scotland. The family-owned company offers a variety of shortbread, traditional cookies, cakes, oatcakes and puddings to more than 80 countries, and it continues to operate a retail shop on the location of its first bakery in the Scottish Highlands village of Aberlour.
