Promotion In Motion Moves Into New HQ

Candy maker cuts ribbon on Allendale, N.J., facility

ALLENDALE, N.J. -- Promotion In Motion Cos. Inc. (PIM) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony June 4 at its new corporate headquarters in Allendale, N.J.

U.S. Representative Scott Garrett (R-N.J.) joined Michael Rosenberg, president and chief executive officer of PIM, along with Vince Barra, mayor and borough council of Allendale, to celebrate the opening of the facility and the creation of new jobs in New Jersey. They also toured the new facility.

PIM is a leading North American manufacturer and marketer of brand-name confections, fruit snacks and other foods. The company was originally founded in 1979 and incorporated in 1980. PIM is privately owned and is one of the 100 largest candy companies in the world.

It manufactures and markets licensed, proprietary and private-label brands produced largely through its manufacturing affiliate PIM Brands LLC, located in Somerset, N.J. The company also has wholly owned subsidiaries in the U.K., Canada and Spain and maintains offices, warehouses and manufacturing sites throughout the United States, Canada and other locations worldwide.
