Snyder’s of Hanover Launches ‘Discover Our Pretzelbilities’ Campaign

Designed to communicate variety, quality, versatility of snack maker’s products

HANOVER, Pa. – Snack maker Snyder’s of Hanover Inc. has rolled out a new integrated marketing campaign called “Discover our Pretzelbilities.” The campaign communicates a story about the wide range of the company’s pretzel varieties and the ways and occasions consumers can use them.

“We’re inviting consumers to think differently about how they see, serve and enjoy the family of Snyder’s of Hanover pretzels,” said Rod Troni, chief marketing officer for Snyder’s-Lance. “‘Discover our Pretzelbilities’ marks a new era for Snyder’s of Hanover and paves the way for continued expansion of innovative snacks for pretzel lovers.”

The goal of the campaign is to effectively bring to life the pioneering spirit of the Snyder’s of Hanover brand by emphasizing the brand’s core equity of quality and wholesomeness, along with the brand’s “passion for innovation.”

Ahead of but anticipating this campaign, the company recently launched two new products--Pretzel Poppers and Bowties--answering the call for consumers who desire lighter snacking and easy, quick appetizer ideas.

The “Discover our Pretzelbilities” campaign communicates using upbeat music, colors and animation highlighting the textures, flavors and shapes from America’s pretzel bakery. The activation includes a national television launch, digital ads, print ads, point-of-purchase merchandising and a redesign of the brand’s website--all touting the “topability, dipability, sharability and snackability” of pretzels.

For more than 100 years, Americans have enjoyed Snyder’s of Hanover pretzels. With their unique sourdough heritage, Snyder’s of Hanover pretzels are available across the country in single-serve sizes as well as larger, 10-, 12- and 16-ounce bags. Today, Its pretzels are available in a variety of flavors and shapes, including traditional hard pretzels, flavored pretzel pieces, sticks, rods, nibblers and gluten-free options.

Snyder’s-Lance, Charlotte, N.C., manufactures and markets snack foods throughout the United States and internationally. Snyder's-Lance's products include pretzels, sandwich crackers, pretzel crackers, potato chips, cookies, tortilla chips, restaurant style crackers, nuts and other snacks. It sells products under the Snyder's of Hanover, Lance, Cape Cod, Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps, Late July, Krunchers!, Tom's, Archway, Jays, Stella D'oro, Eatsmart, O-Ke-Doke and other brands.
