CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Snyder’s-Lance Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of premium snacks, recently promoted Dan Morgan to chief sales officer. Morgan will lead a team of 650 Snyder’s-Lance employees who focus on sales, operations, distribution and support in the United States and across the world.
Morgan led DSD (direct-store-delivery) sales and operations for the East Division as senior vice president prior to his promotion. He started working for Snyder’s-Lance after he sold Patriot Snacks in 2002 and has 27 years of sales and management experience.
Morgan sits on the board for the Snack Food Association as a vice chair and will assume the chairman role next spring. Morgan has lived in the Boston area his entire life and still resides there with his wife and three children.
