SPLENDA Foodservice Promotes Acken

Named sr. director for foodservice, c-store, office coffee/vending channels

FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Greg Acken has been promoted to senior director of customer development of foodservice for McNeil Nutritionals LLC, marketer of the popular SPLENDA No Calorie Sweetener.

Acken is responsible for all sales and marketing activities relating to Splenda in the foodservice, convenience store and office coffee and vending channels.

Prior to joining McNeil, Acken held sales and marketing roles at Procter & Gamble, Heinz, and Unilever as well as the Dannon Co., where he served as national sales manager and [image-nocss] director of national accounts. Previously at McNeil, Acken held the position of director of sales and marketing, Splenda Foodservice.
