PHILADELPHIA -- Snack-cake brand Tastykake has introduced limited-edition spring offerings, as well as two new mini cupcakes, which are permanent additions.
Mini Donuts
- Tastykake’s new Peach Cobbler Mini Donuts capture the taste of peach cobbler inside a peach-flavored donut covered in a sweet cobbler crumble.
- Strawberry Mini Donuts transform strawberry flavor into a mini donut form featuring a strawberry-flavored donut with traditional powdered sugar coating.
- Tastykake Peach Cobbler Mini Donuts are also available in 3.4-ounce, six-count single-serve packages with 72 packages per case. Strawberry Mini Donuts are available in 3.0-ounce, six-count single-serve packages. Both have an estimated retail price of $1.79.
Kandy Kakes
- Tastykake is bringing back its sweet Lemon Kandy Kakes for the season. Lemon Kandy Kakes feature a white-coated vanilla sponge cake with a lemon creme filling. They are available in 2-ounce, three-count single-serve packages with 72 packages per case and an estimated retail value of $1.79.
Peach Cobbler Mini Donuts, Strawberry Mini Donuts and Lemon Kandy Kakes are available to retailers until May 21.
Mini Cupcakes
Meanwhile, Tastykake recently unveiled two single-serve options from its bite-sized, mini cupcake line.
- Tastykake’s Mini Swirly Cupcakes are chocolate cupcakes with a white creme filling and topped with chocolate icing.
- Mini Peanut Butter Cupcakes are chocolate cupcakes filled with peanut-butter-flavored creme and topped with a mouthwatering peanut butter icing.
These conveniently packaged sweets are available in three-count, 1.5-ounce, single-serve packages, with 48 packages per case and an estimated retail price of $1. They’re also available in a 72-count mixed shipper for added retailer convenience.
