PHILADELPHIA -- This holiday season, snack brand Tastykake invites consumers to upgrade Santa's boring cookies with some tasty treats he will really enjoy via the launch of three new limited-edition winter items and the return of three seasonal favorites.
Tastykake's limited edition winter treats, include:
Kandy Kakes
- New Tastykake Red Velvet Kandy Kakes feature rich red velvet cakes with a buttercream creme filling covered in a white confectionary coating. The Red Velvet Kandy Kakes are available in 8-ounce boxes and have an estimated retail price of $4.49.
- Tastykake's Gingerbread Kandy Kakes feature a sweet and spicy gingerbread cake covered in a white confectionary coating. Gingerbread Kandy Kakes are available in 8-ounce boxes and have an estimated retail price of $4.49.
- Both Kandy Kake flavors have 18 boxes per case.
Mini Donuts
- Enticing Gingerbread flavors overtake Tastykake's new Gingerbread Mini Donuts, which feature a gingerbread-flavor cake with cinnamon sugar coating. The Gingerbread Mini Donuts are available in 10-ounce bags with an estimated retail price of $2.99.
- Tastykake's Salted Caramel Mini Donuts and Red Velvet Mini Donuts are making a comeback this season. The Salted Caramel Mini Donuts feature a traditional cake doughnut covered in a caramel-and-salt-flavored crumble. Tastykake's Red Velvet Mini Donuts transform red velvet-cake flavors into a classic mini doughnut size, featuring a red velvet-flavored doughnut with traditional powdered sugar coating. The Salted Caramel Mini Donuts are available in 10-ounce bags and the Red Velvet Mini Donuts are available in 11.5-ounce bags with an estimated retail price of $2.99.
- All mini doughnut flavors have 12 packages per case.
- Both the Salted Caramel and Red Velvet Mini Donuts are also available in 6-count single-serve packages. They have an estimated retail price of $1.79, with 36 packages per tray and 72 packages in a case.
Cookies
- Finally, Tastykake's Holiday Tub Cookies are back to sweeten up the holiday season. Each tub features a holiday sweater design filled with delicious shortbread cookies and have a retail price of $4.99. There are 12 Holiday Tub Cookie packages per case.
Tastykake's special winter edition items are available everywhere Tastykake is sold starting Nov.16.
