Tic Tac Debuts First Mint Innovation Since 2010

Rolls out dual-pill Spearmint Mix flavor

This latest flavor is a blend of artificially flavored spearmint mints that mixes smooth, mild light-green pills and intense, refreshing dark-green pills for the perfect experience.

"The introduction of Spearmint Mix Tic Tac mints gives us an opportunity to return to our roots while putting an innovative twist on a classic mint flavor that our fans have come to expect from us," said Todd Midura, marketing category manager of Tic Tac mints at Ferrero U.S.A. Inc. "Much like the unpredictable moments of the day, it offers a contrast of flavors that work together to give fans the best of both worlds--mild and intense--in a single pack."

Spearmint Mix Tic Tac mints can be purchased at select grocery, drug, mass and convenience stores. It will join the Tic Tac brand's portfolio of mint flavors that includes Freshmints, Powermint and Wintergreen Tic Tac mints.

Italian confection The Ferrero Co., established in 1946, in Alba, Italy, launched the Tic Tac brand in the United States in 1969. The company made its first product with hazelnuts and cocoa, resulting in the base ingredients for Nutella hazelnut spread. The company has grown to become one of the world's largest confectionery companies with a portfolio that includes Ferrero Rocher chocolates, Raffaello confections and Tic Tac mints.
