Warheads Adds Sour Dippin' Pucker Packs

Expands portfolio of sour candies

LITTLETON, Colo. -- Sour candy brand Warheads is introducing Warheads Sour Dippin' Pucker Packs. These dextrose dip n' lick packets are the only sour version on the market, the company said. Each packet brings twice the sour with a sour and flavored dextrose stick and a sour and flavored powder.

Warheads Sour Dippin' Pucker Packs will begin shipping in January 2014.

Warheads Sour Dippin' Pucker Packs come in 10-count peg bags. Each peg bag contains green apple/watermelon and cherry/blue raspberry packets, with 12 peg bags per shipping case with a suggested retail price of $1.29.

"Warheads is the most diverse portfolio of sour candies in the market, with products ranging from chewy to hard candy, and sour intensities from everyday to extreme. We strive to encompass all the major candy categories with a fun and unique Warheads solution. As dextrose is one of the largest novelty categories, it just made sense to launch Sour Dippin' Pucker Packs. Kids and retailers response to the product has been tremendous," said Andy Telatnik, director of marketing.

Littleton, Colo.-based Impact Confections is a manufacturer of candies marketed under the Warheads and Melster Candies Brands. Melster Candies, established in 1919, offers marshmallow treats. Its products are produced in a SQF Certified facility located in Janesville, Wis.
