BROOMFIELD, Colo. -- Tobacco retailers wanting to expand their offerings in cigars would have found Smoker Friendly’s Conference and Tobacco Festival a veritable one-stop shop.
At the retailer’s showcase held Aug. 25 in the Denver area, more than a dozen cigar makers, along with several dozen other manufacturers of tobacco products, set up booths to show off their latest lines.
Here's a look at a few of the cigar exhibitors that took part …
Altadis USA, based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., displayed its Backwoods brand of cigars.
New York-based Nat Sherman showcased several of its lines, including namesake Nat Sherman and Metropolitan.
Rocky Patel Premium Cigars, Bonita Springs, Fla., represented The Edge and Java cigar lines, among other brand names.
Scandinavian Tobacco Group, Tucker, Ga., showcased its Half Pipe series, among other things.
Smoker Friendly, Boulder, Colo., hosted the conference and festival but also showcased its own brand of cigars.
Swisher International, Darien, Conn., had multiple products in the 99-cent and two-for-99-cents range.
Miami-based Drew Estate had a large presence at the festival, including its Tabak and Acid product lines.
