Asian American Retailer Group Partners With Smokio

French e-cigarette synchronizes with users’ smartphones

BALA CYNWYD, Pa. -- Smokio, the world’s first connected electronic cigarette that synchronizes automatically with users’ smartphones, has entered into a partnership with Asian American Trade Association Council (AATAC), an organization designed to build partnerships between convenience stores and manufacturers.

“We are very proud to partner with AATAC to be able to offer Smokio to such a large number of retail outlets across the U.S.,” said Alexandre Prot, co-founder of Smokio. “Convenience stores are one of the most important channels for our company, as these types of stores are where a majority of electronic cigarettes are sold. This is a natural extension of our growth, and we are looking forward to the assistance ATTAC can provide.”

Smokio develops and distributes the first connected e-cigarette that automatically synchronizes with users’ smartphones and is able to monitor consumption while tracking the health and economic benefits a user is experiencing by transitioning from tobacco cigarettes to electronic cigarettes.

By partnering with ATTAC, Smokio will be introduced and recommended to over 80,000 of the organization’s convenience-store partners. A national association comprised of smaller buying groups and trade organizations across the United States, ATTAC thrives on partnering quality companies’ products and services with eager business owners.

“Smokio is a very innovative product and company, and we are pleased to be supporting their distribution in the U.S.,” said Remy Isaac, executive director of AATAC. “Most of our members, who currently sell electronic cigarettes at retail will welcome a new product such as this, one that will allow people to vape in a smart and connected way.”

Paris-based Smokio’s units are currently available for purchase in some retail stores in the U.S. and online at us.smokio.com.
