LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Dan Custred has joined National Tobacco Co. LP as a director of national accounts, reporting to Graham Purdy.
Custred comes to National Tobacco from King of Prussia, Pa.-based Blue Whale Worldwide, where he was director of sales, responsible for all sales, marketing, advertising and special event work for the company's two primary product lines.
Prior to that, he worked for Greenwich, Conn.-based US Smokeless Tobacco Co. for 22 years. His last position there was director of business development. He also served [image-nocss] on the board of the American Wholesale Marketers Association (AWMA) and on several committees for the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS).
Louisville, Ky.-based National Tobacco manufactures and distributes chewing tobacco, cigarette papers, cigarettes and make your own tobacco products.
