FDA's Mitch Zeller to Speak at 2015 NATO Show

CTP director to discuss deeming, future regulations
MINNEAPOLIS -- Retailers that sell tobacco products should mark their calendars now and plan to attend the 2015 NATO Show to be held on April 22-23, 2015 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 2015 NATO Show will offer retailers the opportunity to hear firsthand from Mitch Zeller, the Director of the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products.

Mr. Zeller last spoke at the 2013 NATO Show and he has accepted an invitation to speak at the upcoming 2015 NATO Show. This appearance by Mitch Zeller will provide an opportunity for NATO Show attendees to hear directly from the individual at the FDA who oversees the regulation of cigarettes, roll-your-own tobacco, and smokeless tobacco products and the extension of the FDA’s regulatory authority under the proposed deeming regulations to include cigars, pipe tobacco, e-cigarettes, and hookah tobacco.

Besides hearing from Mitch Zeller of the FDA, there are other important educational seminars being planned for the 2015 NATO Show that will be informative for every kind of retailer that sells tobacco products. Also, the exhibit floor will be filled to capacity with the latest tobacco products and accessories. Watch for updates about the 2015 NATO Show on www.NATOShow.com
