Marquardt Moves Up

Promoted to vice president of marketing at Prime Time

PHOENIX -- Prime Time International Co., a manufacturer of cigars and other tobacco products, and its subsidiary 21st Century Brands, has named Paul Marquardt its vice president of marketing. Marquardt has a degree in business management and has held various leadership positions throughout the company since joining the organization in 2004.

“Paul has demonstrated a thorough understanding of CPG, marketing and branding throughout his last seven years with our company and has proven his ability to lead by example and make decisions that have helped lead to the success of our products. He is perfectly suited for this role and will play an important part in our long-term growth,” said James L. Emery, president and founder.

Prime Time International Co. is a 20-year-old, privately held tobacco manufacturer with corporate headquarters in Phoenix and manufacturing facilities in Stantonsburg, N.C. Its product lines include Prime Time Cigars, Smoker’s Choice Cigars, Sparrow Pipe Tobacco and PT Rillos. Prime Time’s subsidiary company, 21st Century Brands, sells and markets nontobacco products, including E6 6-Hour Energy Shots and its recently launched E6 Energy Strips.
