Maurici Joins NJOY

Will grow brand as senior vice president of sales and distribution

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Sottera Inc., manufacturer of NJOY, the leading electronic cigarette brand, named Vito Maurici to its U.S. sales team as senior vice president of sales and distribution. In this role, Maurici will be responsible for further accelerating the growth of the NJOY brand both nationally and globally. He will report to Roy Anise, executive vice president, NJOY.

Maurici has 16 years of combined experience at Altria, formerly Philip Morris Cos. Inc., where he recently held the position of vice president sales Southwest Region in Dallas. In that role, he was responsible for significant growth of Altria’s business, sales team and key customers.

“Vito’s experience and history of success combined with his deep knowledge of the tobacco industry make him the ideal leader for NJOY’s sales and distribution and further strengthens our industry-leading management team,” said Craig Weiss, president and CEO of NJOY.

Before his vice president position, Vito held diverse positions in sales, marketing, trade marketing, and communications with Philip Morris USA and trade marketing with Philip Morris International for the former Central Europe, Middle East and Africa Region. Maurici will be located in Dallas.
