"Mistic is committed to supporting our customers and protecting the environment throughout the entire product life cycle, from purchase through to retirement," said John Wiesehan Jr., CEO ("chief e-cig officer") of Charlotte, N.C.-based Mistic. "Now we are making it even easier for Mistic customers as well as all vapers to responsibly and affordably recycle their used cartridges."

He added, "E-cigs have become a truly significant alternative for millions of former smokers everywhere. Trillions of cigarette butts are discarded annually and nearly 850,000 tons of it wind up in our lakes and oceans. It's humbling to know we are improving people's lives with e-cigs while helping the environment as well."

Vapers new to Mistic get to choose a free Mistic Basic Starter Kit, either in traditional or menthol, for every 50 empty refill cartridges of any brand that they ship to the company to be recycled. Existing customers will receive a five-pack of Mistic cartridge refills in traditional or menthol for every 50 empty cartridges they return to be recycled. This offer is limited to adult consumers only and not available to retailers or wholesalers.
