NATO Show 2011

Why convenience retailers should attend the NATO Show.

To date, numerous convenience store retailers have registered to attend the new NATO Show, an all-tobacco trade show produced by NATO, the national retail tobacco trade association that specializes in lobbying on local, state and federal tobacco legislation and regulations for all classes of retailers--including convenience stores. In fact, the current attendee registration list for the NATO Show reads like a "Who's Who" in the convenience retail industry.

The NATO Show takes place in Las Vegas on April 12-14, 2011 at the Rio All Suites Hotel & Casino. In addition to great networking [image-nocss] and buying opportunities on a virtually sold out trade show floor, the 2011 NATO Show educational seminar agenda is nothing short of compelling.

The NATO Show seminar speakers include:

Dr. Lawrence Deyton, Director of the Center for Tobacco Products, U.S. Food & Drug Administration, who will provide clarity on FDA tobacco regulations already in place and an update of measures under consideration.

Dr. John Lauterbach, is a scientist and serves as the Small Business Tobacco Manufacturing Industry Representative on the FDA's Tobacco Product Scientific Advisory Committee. He will provide an industry point of view on FDA regulations.

Thomas Briant, NATO Executive Director, will provide a highly informative review of current state and federal tobacco legislation and regulations.

Nik Modi, Senior Research Analyst, UBS Investment Research, presents a seminar on trends, the impact of FDA regulations and higher tobacco taxes and an update on the smokeless tobacco product segment.

Mitch Morrison, Vice President & Group Editor, CSP magazine, presents results of the First Annual NATO/CSP Tobacco Insider Report that provides extremely valuable information on tobacco benchmarks for both convenience stores and tobacco stores.

In addition to this great group of subject matter experts, the NATO Show will also feature various concurrent education sessions that will be interactive and thought provoking. The additional important sessions include: "Tobacco Inventory Management 101" "Idea Exchange--Growing the Cigar and Pipe Tobacco Business" "Capitalizing on the Change in Consumptive Patterns" "OTP: Seismic Shift in Tobacco Infrastructure"

With all of these educational opportunities, plus a trade show floor with exhibit booths from companies representing every segment of the tobacco industry, the NATO Show is the one tobacco show that you must attend. For more information, visit www.NATOShow.com.
