Smoker Friendly Announces Legislative Panel

Industry execs to speak at 2010 Tobacco Festival & Conference

BOULDER, Colo. -- Smoker Friendly International (SFI) will be holding its annual Tobacco Festival & Conference from August 30 to September 1 at the Millennium Harvest House in Boulder, Colo.

Each year SFI offers a legislative panel. This year the distinguished group will include David Riser, vice president of external relations trade marketing, RJ Reynolds Co.; Tom Briant, executive director of the National Association of Tobacco Outlets (NATO), Chris McCalla, legislative director of International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers of America (IPCPR); and Gerry Roerty [image-nocss] Jr., vice president, general counsel and secretary of Swedish Match North America.

The moderator will be Farrell Delman, president of the Tobacco Merchants Association (TMA).

With more than 700 stores across the United States, Boulder, Colo.-based Smoker Friendly is America's largest cigarette and tobacco store (CTS) retailer. The Smoker Friendly Authorized Dealer Program is designed for existing retail tobacco store operators who wish to market their own brand of competitively priced private-label products within an exclusive territory that is geographically protected. This program is for the tobacco retailer who would like the advantages of a buying group; wants more interaction with other cigarette and tobacco store retailers including information and idea sharing; clout with manufacturers; and the greater synergies that a nationally known private-label brand like Smoker Friendly provides.
