Tantus Tobacco Hires Sales Exec

Comes to vapor company from c-store pizza distributor

RUSSELL SPRINGS, Ky. -- Tantus Tobacco Sales has announced that Steve Hubbard has joined the company as vice president of sales.

With more than 28 years of sales experience, Hubbard was formerly vice president of sales and operations for The Britt Hunt Co. LLC, which is the largest distributor of Hunt Brothers Pizza Products, located in Nashville, Tenn.

"I'm especially pleased to join the Tantus team. There is so much talent in the organization and the attention to detail given to each product is something which truly sets the company apart. There's a culture here of building deeply committed relationships and our people are empowered to make decisions to better serve our customers," said Hubbard.

"Steve will bring a new face to our company, and with his positive attitude and will to serve people, he will do great things for our company. We are also excited about Ross Haynes moving into his new position and working on growing our national account presence. Tantus also said that it plans to expand its sales force.

The Russell Springs, Ky.-based company makes Red Buck and Richwood Filtered Cigars, Tipped Cigars, ST (Soft Tip) Cigars, Bacco and Red Buck Pipe Tobacco, along with Berley, Sport, Main Street, Berkley, 24/7 and GSmoke Cigarettes, Dixon Rolling Machine, Dixon Tubes and Coffee Thins among other products  offered at value prices.
