Flash Foods is a chain of 144 convenience stores in Georgia and Florida originally based in Waycross, Ga. Regional retailer CST Brands, San Antonio, purchased Flash Foods in late 2015. This past year, however, Flash Foods stores were regularly undercutting market average gasoline prices by more than 3 cents per gallon, earning the chain a market efficiency rating of 1.66 and the No. 30 spot on CSP’s Fuels 50 list.
As part of CST Brands, the chain is now in the process of being purchased by Canada’s Alimentation Couche-Tard (dba Circle K).
