Kum & Go’s overall differentiation begins with fuel: A redesigned black-and-silver canopy stands over eight multipump dispensers adorned with Kum & Go’s bright trademark red color.

With dozens of LEED-certified “green” convenience stores and a reputation for great customer service, Kum & Go began testing E15 in 2016. At that time, the West Des Moines, Iowa-based chain sold the ethanol-based fuel for $1.15 per gallon at nine locations to introduce customers to the blend.

Kum & Go officials are electrified about the future of American cars. The decades-old convenience retailer known for its value, selection and speedy service was planning to open two new test stores in Colorado with electric charging stations in 2018.
