Founded more than a half-century ago as a Gulf distributorship by F.E. “Gene” Rhodes, the Rhodes Cos., proprietor of Rhodes 101 Stops convenience stores of Cape Girardeau, Mo., has built a strong extension from traditional gas stations to convenience stores.

Rhodes became the first c-store chain in southeast Missouri to join Orion Food Systems and Chester’s Fried and was among the pioneers in the c-store channel to introduce drive-up windows at most of its locations.

Motorists enjoy the Rhodes 101 Advantages rewards, in which every gallon of gasoline purchased nets 10 fuel credits. Six hundred fuel credits earn customers $1 off any purchase at a Rhodes 101 store.
