Atlas Adds Valero Brand

Joins retail portfolio that includes BP, CITGO, Clark, ConocoPhillips, Marathon
TAYLOR, Mich. -- Atlas Oil Co. has announced that it has added Valero to its portfolio of retail brands, which also includes BP, CITGO, Clark, ConocoPhillips and Marathon. A total of six Valero stations will join the Atlas family of brands initially with additional sites to be added in the future, the company said.

"We are extremely excited to bring Valero into our distinguished family of brands," said Atlas Oil's executive vice president of retail William Shaver. "We choose our brands carefully and give them our 100% commitment to customer service and support."

Valero [image-nocss] has been the fastest growing fuel brand in the country over the past few years, according to Atlas Oil. Since its founding as a natural gas transportation company 30 years ago, San Antonio, Texas-based Valero Energy Corp. has transformed itself into North America's largest independent refining and marketing company. Valero supplies products to more than 5,800 branded retail outlets.

Atlas Oil is one of the largest national fuel distributors in the Midwest, with terminal facilities in four statesIllinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. It delivers more than 800 million gallons of fuel per year with a customer base ranging from commercial and industrial fuel users to nearly 400 retail locations.
