The benefits of the move are numerous, according to Tim Clarke, vice president of transportation and commercial sales. "The new PDC is literally across the street from our maintenance facility, MHC, which provides an enhanced ability to live our Safety Statement, which states, 'There [image-nocss] is nothing we do commercially at CarterEnergy that is worthy of compromising the well being of a human life or the environment.' In addition, the new building provides more space for our drivers."
CarterEnergy rivers were welcomed to the new facility by the project team responsible for planning all aspects of the move, from facilities renovation and setup, to technology, processes and special events. The move's main objective has been to provide a safe, productive and rewarding work environment capable of enhancing the success of CarterEnergy and its associates, the company said.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the move is planned for December 14. CarterEnergy associates, drivers and their families will be on hand to participate in the festivities, in addition to several local VIPs.
