Farmers Union Oil, Bloom Oil Merge

New company named Creative Energy

JAMESTOWN, N.D. -- Distributors Bloom Oil Co. and Farmers Union Oil, both of North Dakota, have merged into a new company called Creative Energy Inc., with the corporate office located in Jamestown, N.D.

The cooperative remains member-owned, serving not only agricultural communities, but also manufacturing, construction, trucking, automotive fast lubes, food processing industries and any retail customer wishing to do business with the cooperative.

Main product offerings include refined fuels, lubricants, propane, agronomy, pet food and miscellaneous fluids and additives. [image-nocss] Additional product offerings include light hardware and grocery items, which can be found at the two convenience stores in South Heart and Belfield.

All products Creative Energy Inc. offers meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer requirements for most if not all applications, from agricultural to commercial (including heavy equipment), to recreational vehicles.

Jerry Fuchs, who has been the general manager at Bloom Oil Co. for the past 25 years, was named CEO for Creative Energy Inc. Neil Fuchs has been named the Jamestown branch manager, and Mike Strommen the South Heart/Belfied branch manager.

Bloom Oil Co., Jamestown, N.D., was established in 1929. Farmers Union Oil, Wimbledon, N.D., was established in 1949. Both are primarily marketers of Cenex fuels.
