Levine Joins Bennett Pump

Former VeriFone, Gasboy exec named VP of business development
SPRING LAKE, Mich. -- Bennett Pump Co., a worldwide provider of electronic and mechanical petroleum dispensing equipment, has announced that Alan Levine has joined the organization as vice president of business development.

"We are continuing to grow our business despite the recent challenges of the U.S. economy," said Bennett president Tom Thompson. "Even in the present downturn, we've been investing in veteran industry professionals that can accelerate our growth plans. Alan is the right professional at the right time to help make significant strides in the U.S. market [image-nocss] for our fuel dispensing systems. Having worked for both a dispenser manufacturer and the world's largest manufacturer of secure electronic payment systems, he brings a unique and valuable perspective to our growth plans."

Levine was previously a national account manager with VeriFone and served in a variety of sales and sales management positions at VeriFone during the past 14 years. Prior to joining VeriFone, Levine was a sales executive at Gasboy (now Gilbarco).

As a member of Bennett's senior management team, Levine will report to Thompson.

Bennett Pump Co. manufactures, markets and services electronic and mechanical petroleum dispensing systems for distribution in more than 90 countries. Systems include hydraulic components, fuel dispensers and pumps for retail and commercial applications, pump controllers, dispenser payment terminals and replacement parts.
