Chooses Gilbarco to manage fueling systems maintenance at all locations

El DORADO, Ark. -- Murphy Oil USA and Gilbarco Veeder-Root launched a program on May 1, 2008, for Gilbarco to manage fueling system maintenance at all Murphy Oil USA locations, for all equipment brands.

"Having a reliable, single source for fueling equipment maintenance will help us control service and administrative overhead costs as well as measure contractor efficiency and performance," said Tommy Seabolt, regional maintenance manager at Murphy Oil USA.

"Gilbarco is able to use our extensive technical expertise, comprehensive service network, 24x7 support center and state-of-the-art [image-nocss] maintenance management system to efficiently provide equipment maintenance and remote support services to our retail fueling customers," said Sanjay Chowbey, vice president of service at Gilbarco Veeder-Root.

In February 2008, Murphy Oil USA and Gilbarco implemented system integration between their two support center systems, enabling all dispatch data and service updates to be exchanged electronically. Gilbarco tracks key performance indicators and provides regular reports to Murphy Oil USA, along with performance improvement plans to continuously improve the quality of service Murphy Oil USA receives.

Greensboro, N.C.-based Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Gasboy are leading suppliers of integrated fuel control, site management and support services for petroleum marketers and commercial fueling enterprises worldwide.

A unit of El Dorado, Ark.-based Murphy Oil Corp., Murphy USA Marketing Co. (Murphy Oil USA Inc.) operates retail gasoline stations under the Murphy USA brand across 20 states. These are high-volume, low-cost stations, primarily in the parking areas of Wal-Mart Supercenters. Murphy Oil USA also operates a network of 12 company-owned terminals. These terminals, along with numerous third-party terminals, provide fuel supply to retail and branded wholesale stations throughout 23 states.
