HOUSTON -- The first Phillips 66 Marketing Conference & Trade Show will bring together Phillips 66 Lubricants, Phillips 66 Motor Fuels Marketing and Phillips 66 Aviation for the first time ever.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, through Friday, May 24, at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas.
Phillips 66, the new company spun off from ConocoPhillips on May 1, 2012, chose the theme "New Energy, New Possibilities" to celebrate the establishment and spirit of the new corporation.
"The theme expands on our excitement and passion for providing you new opportunities, ideas and ways to help grow your business," the company said. "Expect informative and beneficial breakout sessions, engaging speakers, a comprehensive trade show, exciting entertainment and much more."
The 2013 Marketing Conference & Trade Show will feature more than 75 exhibitors intended to provide resources to help marketers and retailers. Featured categories of exhibitors will include business services; imaging; signage and construction; loss prevention; finance; technology and more. Phillips 66 internal booths will be manned by informed company representatives from the fuels, lubricants and aviation divisions.
A sampling of breakout sessions during the conference includes:

Houston-based Phillips 66, created through the repositioning of ConocoPhillips, began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on May 1, 2012. The company operates three segment-leading businesses:
- The Refining & Marketing segment purchases, refines, markets and transports crude oil and petroleum products, mainly in the United States, Europe and Asia. It engages in power generation, lubricants and other specialty products businesses. This segment includes 15 refineries with a net crude oil capacity of 2.2 million barrels per day, 10,000 branded marketing outlets and 15,000 miles of pipeline systems.
In the United States, Phillips 66 markets gasoline and diesel fuel. The marketing outlets are owned and operated by independent dealers and wholesale marketers. The majority of these outlets are branded with Phillips 66, Conoco or 76 and feature gasolines that have been recognized as Top Tier by leading automakers. These operations are strategically served by the company's refineries and transportation systems.
In its wholesale operations, Phillips 66 uses a network of branded marketers and dealers operating approximately 6,875 outlets. Refined products are sold on both a branded and unbranded basis. The company emphasizes the wholesale channel of trade. It also holds brand licensing agreements with approximately 500 sites.
- The Midstream business is primarily conducted through a 50% interest in DCP Midstream, one of the largest natural gas gatherers and processors in the United States, with 7.2 billion cubic feet per day of gross natural gas processing capacity.
- The Chemicals business is composed of a 50% interest in Chevron Phillips Chemical Co., one of the world's top producers of olefins and polyolefins, with more than 30 billion pounds of net annual chemicals processing capacity across its product lines.
