WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) said that it has opened its 237th travel center, located along Interstate 20 in Greenwood, La. Formerly the Kelly's Truck Stop, the 32-acre site is located on I-20 at Exit 5.
At the new Greenwood location, customers can have a meal at Kelly's Caf a & Grille. Kelly's offers diners family-style dining with buffet service in a comfortable 100-seat setting. There is also a Subway restaurant on site that seats 12 patrons.
In addition, a 3,000 square-foot store, open 24 hours, [image-nocss] seven days a week, offers a variety of competitively priced travel accessories and products, snacks and brand name beverages.
Professional drivers will find that TA Greenwood caters to their truck light repair and maintenance needs with a three-bay truck service center that is open 24 hours, seven days a week. Other conveniences at the site include nine diesel lanes, a 150-space truck parking area and Cat scales.
Professional drivers can relax in a lounge area with WiFi access, a game room, a laundry room and 10 showers. There is also a truck wash and a barber shop on site. TA Greenwood participates in the RoadKing Club rewards program so club members will be able to earn points on qualifying purchases.
TA Greenwood also offers Texaco-branded gasoline and diesel for cars and RVs with eight motorist fueling positions and 75 parking spaces. For the RVer, there are 44 dedicated parking spots and a dump area.
Within a short time, TA will upgrade the Greenwood location with a number of signature TA services such as CafeExpress, Pronto Pay, WiFi and more. The truck repair shop is also being renovated at the time of opening to bring Greenwood truckers light repair and maintenance services.
