NORFOLK, N.C. -- Jones & Frank Corp. has received the 2008 Distributor of the Year award from Gilbarco Veeder Root for the Southern Region. The award is given to a distributor that exceeds performance expectations in many areas including sales and service excellence.
The Norfolk, Va.-based equipment company earned this award after its first full year as a Gilbarco distributor, it said.
Greensboro, N.C.-based Gilbarco Veeder-Root (along with the Gasboy unit) are leading suppliers of payment systems, integrated fuel control, site management and support services for petroleum marketers and commercial fueling enterprises worldwide.
Jones & Frank is a multi-branch petroleum equipment solutions provider operating from nine branch offices located in the southeastern and Mid-Atlantic United States. Service is provided from a network of technicians located remotely throughout their service area. Jones & Frank represents the products in the petroleum equipment industry including Gilbarco, VeriFone, Veeder-Root, Containment Solutions, Modern Welding, UPP, Franklin and OPW.
