Leiszler Oil Using inOvationTV Platform for Site Upgrades

Short Stop c-stores selects Wayne dispensers for forecourt renovation

CLAY CENTER, Kansas -- Leiszler Oil Co. has selected Wayne Ovation fuel dispensers, equipped with the inOvationTV media program, as part of a major forecourt renovation effort at its Short Stop convenience stores and gas stations in central and northeastern Kansas.

The inOvationTV media platform is a major forecourt media platform offered jointly by Wayne Fueling Systems, one of the leaders in fuel dispensing technology, and Gas Station TV (GSTV), a leading video network at the pump.

"The inOvationTV media platform provides us with tremendous added-value," said Alison Leiszler Bridges, executive vice president of Leiszler Oil. "The promotional ads that GSTV produces for us every month will help us reduce our investment in pump-topper and other forecourt promotional materials, and the program will actually pay for itself over time."

Addressing evolving technology needs is another major factor influencing Leiszler Oil's decision to upgrade their sites.

"Adopting the latest technology for our sites is important to us, and the inOvationTV media program includes a number of technology upgrades such as the Wayne Connect IP-485 wireless solution and Wayne Fusion gateway PC that help us prepare for the future," said Bridges. "Plus the program is backed by a six-year warranty."

Cameron Nokes, senior product manager for the inOvationTV media program at Wayne Fueling Systems, said, "Under the program, retailers like Leiszler Oil Co. have the added assurance of knowing their Ovation fuel dispensers are EMV [EuroPay, MasterCard & Visa] communications-ready and capable of supporting near-field communication (NFC) solutions as these payment technologies are implemented."

Leiszler Oil, in addition to supplying fuel to its own stores and dealers, also has a transport division. The chain plans continued growth through strategic acquisitions and new construction.

"We're very pleased to welcome Leiszler Oil Co. and Short Stop to the inOvationTV media network," said David Leider, CEO of GSTV. "This will allow their businesses to help provide an enhanced fueling experience for their customers, increase store traffic and deliver incremental viewers in key Kansas metro areas."

Austin, Texas-based Wayne Fueling Systems is one of the world's largest suppliers of fuel dispensers, payment terminals, forecourt control devices, point-of-sale (POS) and other measurement and control solutions to the retail and commercial fueling industry.

Gas Station TV (GSTV), a Rockbridge Growth Equity company, delivers its video-at-the-pump experience to more than 50 million monthly viewers nationwide, offering exclusive content from ESPN, CNN's Headline News and Buzz Today, Bloomberg TV and AccuWeather.

Leiszler Oil, based in Clay Center, Kansas, owns and operates 16 convenience stores in central and northeastern Kansas, and 27 branded and unbranded dealer sites in the region. The company stores are called Short Stop, offering both branded (ConocoPhillips) and private-brand fuel. It has its own proprietary breakfast program, and a fountain service that features 32 heads of product. It also operates Papa John's, Which Wich, Dunkin Donuts, Champs Chicken and Hunt Brothers franchise locations.
