TAYLOR, Mich. -- Atlas Oil Co., a national fuel supply, logistics and services company, hosted its 8th Annual Atlas Cares Holiday Party at Selfridge Air National Guard Base (SANGB) on December 7, honoring active members of the U.S. military and their family members, announced Atlas Oil chairman and CEO Sam Simon.
More than 3,000 service men and women from all branches of the military and their families attended the celebration, which included live entertainment from the band Fifty Amp Fuse, games, face painting, arts and crafts activities, a meet-and-greet with Santa and a hot buffet meal. The event culminated in a formal recognition of all of the military members in attendance.
"This annual celebration is one of the many ways in which Atlas Oil is dedicated to thanking and honoring our heroic service men and women for their dedication and sacrifice. Our goal is to provide a fun event which they can enjoy with their friends and families," said Simon. "I would also like to thank our outstanding team members, customers and suppliers who contributed time, money and supplies to make this another wonderful event."
