15 Must-See C-Store TV Commercials

The spots are part of what makes chains so popular and well-known in their markets and help create customer loyalty.
Here is a collection of recent TV commercials from some of the industry’s major chains and brands …
Sheetz
Sheetz Inc. has rolled out 15 new meal options aimed toward children as part of its made-to-order Kidz Mealz platform, with options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu is segmented into two categories, LiveWell and Classic Kidz.
Rutter’s Farm Stores
Rutter’s Farm Stores has always served breakfast all day. Currently, the chain is running a promotion for two for $5 breakfast sandwiches.
Pilot Flying J
Arco
Andeavor’s Arco brand recently launched an integrated multichannel marketing campaign featuring Hanna, a dashboard hula girl, serving as a brand ambassador to fortify its position as a Top Tier gasoline brand.
Ricker’s
Ricker Oil Co. has introduced Ricker's Kitchen, where all of the food is made fresh to order. Chain leaders, Jay and Quinn Ricker, are advocates of changing Indiana law so c-stores there can sell cold beer, which the commercial also addresses.
Phillips 66
Phillips 66 Co. uses its latest commercial campaign to promote the Phillips 66 brand’s recent Tank5 game.
Conoco
Conoco, also a brand owned by Phillips 66 Co., tied its recent commercial into its “Good to Go” theme.

The 76 brand, also owned by Phillips 66 Co., used its commercial to promote the brand’s Tank5 game as well.
ampm
Toomgis is ampm’s brand ambassador made up of “too much good stuff.” The 7-foot, 6-inch character contains nearly everything consumers can find at BP's ampm stores and takes the lead in a recent ad campaign.
Casey’s General Stores
Casey’s General Stores Inc. launched its new “Fresh Campaign” in early September. TV segments feature the chain’s foodservice offering, including pizza, sandwiches, tacos and doughnuts.
Chevron
Chevron Corp. introduced ExtraMan, “ExtraMile’s biggest advocate,” in 2016. A tongue-in-cheek, masked superhero, ExtraMan represents the heavy c-store user.
Texaco
Island Energy Services LLC’s Texaco in Hawaii offers a commercial that focuses on the company’s automotive-performance-enhancing Texaco With Techron fuel brand.
Stewart’s Shops
Stewart’s Shops’ milk was named the best in New York at the New York State Fair on Dairy Day, Aug. 31. The recognition is part of Cornell’s New York State Milk Quality Improvement Program.
Sunoco
In a recent commercial, Sunoco LP featured Stripes brand’s Laredo Taco Company signature item—tacos made with fresh tortillas.
Sinclair
With this spot, Sinclair puts a science-fiction twist on promoting the automotive engine performance capabilities of its fuels.
